I installed it in DOS, and then when it was done installing, I rebooted in DOS and started it from there. As far as the drivers, i checked my sound card for DOS settings and put those in at the beginning of the installation.

i installed on windows 98. I followed the installation manual, but when i type in the C: cd \privater priv it goes blank and freezes. I tried creating a boot disk, but the same thing happened

i just installed privateer, but when i start the game, the screen goes black and freezes. keyboard/mouse doesn't work. I'm stumped! any suggestions?
