Thx. I'll look into those. I've found Lary Nivens Man-Kzin series and they have some attractive similarities. I've started on "Man-Kzin Wars" from 1988 now. The Kzin are supposed to be very similar to the Kilrathi from what I've heard. (Or that it's the other way around)

Having read the WC series yet again I cant help but wonder, what else is out there? Since sci-fi isn't my main genre, I have only read the WC series, what better place to ask than the CIC? So here comes the question: I need recommendations on a book series similar to the Wing Commander...
