Finally I got around to download these two samples - and for all the roughness, they're gorgeous. Please don't overproduce, that vibrancy and slight off-balance of the live orchestra is just what makes it feel real.

That's about the first time I've seen anybody identify the font used for the WC logo. I always assumed it was just a graphical design without a full typeset behind it. Or probably I'm just lazy. Really a nice find - and there's some history to it, too...

I like how these historical posts tend to go off on a tangent... Anderson appearing in the VDU was for me a cue to relax after an intense mission, a sense of being back in the territory of reason. He might not be as memorable as Radio Rollins, but professionally, he did a better job.
