ok i know this sounds really thick, but i have tbh - althou i bought the privateer/sc dual cd back in the day - i never really played Privateer properly, and now im playin the remake (1.2), and i think it is most enjoyable, ther combination of modern 3d and nostalgic menus etc is perfect for me...

that is great news - if only i cud find my Armada disk now :(

yeh thats exactly wot happens to me - a good way around it i found is to hold down start key+r (to bring up run dialogue box (althou u wont see it)), then type 'explorer' then press enter this ll bring u to a 16 color mode or sumthin at a crappy resolution - but at least u can right click the...

bump - its now happening in wc3 too :( so the only games i really have working are Prophecy (and its add-ons/mods), and WC1 and 2 :(

hi all :) ive been trying to reinstall all my WC games and get them working in XP, ive got all of em working except Wing Commander IV, which has really slow video for me unfortunately :s - ive turned off direct sound hardware acceleration but it hasnt made a difference. is there anything more...

yeh i have the same prob with my joystick - basically its too bottom ish - so when i so its near the bottom edge of the deadzone (which i have to increase to even get the dot in there), this means that pulling up is very fast and pitching my nose down is very slow, and in fact it goes up for a...
