    Pilgrim cross

Howza 'bout Pilgrim Scimitars? We all need our daily allowance of Scimitars! (evil gleam in eye)

    My God....challenging Cap Ships.....

Yeah, I actually stopped playing Prophecy (!!!) for awhile because the missions degenerated into tedious capship hunts. Most of the Priv 2 non-shuttle capships (especially that big CIS Experimental Dreadnought), WC2 Ralatha, and Kilrathi Corvettes in WC3 and Prophecy gave me the hardest time...

Your fav ship in WC Armada?

I thought that the Light Fighter version of the Gladius was an excellent ship; it had some serious armour protection, and if it got on a fighter's tail, it had the HS's and ProTorps to tear him apart. The only abysmal rating in Priv was its speed, 400 KPS IIRC.

    Atmosphere capable?

There's one way that you can rationalize starfighters having wings, but it's gonna sound really Tolwyn-ish: budget. Why would you want to have two completely different rosters of ships (one atmospheric, one space-only), when you can combine both aspects in one craft? It appears that nearly...

    Never enough Scimitars!

I always figured the top engines were either afterburners (although they never fired in the game) or tubes for the Dumbfire missiles.

A discussion on the true nature of the Nephilim

They're payin' that much for it so they can sell it again on eBay for ten times that to one of you nuts in a couple years! :) [Edited by Rampage3051 on 07-08-2001 at 10:10]

    Rapiers in the Movie

Well, while the Steltek gun is a Steltek gun, it's still just a fighter-class gun. You can't expect it to dust a corvette like its a Phase Transit cannon. Remember, the ship you took it off of on that derelict base looked more human than Steltek, and the S-gun couldn't even scratch the...

    Never enough Scimitars!

I agree. :p I remember the first mission you're in a Raptor, and a bunch of Salthi are attacking the 'Claw; I set full guns, pointed at the lead ship, and iced him in 2 volleys! (actually, the first nearly did him in.) That first impression immortalized the Raptor. :D [Edited by Rampage3051...

    Rapiers in the Movie

Same here. :) Just point it in the general direction of the enemy and wave it around; plus, you can't accidentally shoot down Proton Torps, so you can fire freely, too. :)

    Never enough Scimitars!

The Paktahn's from WC3, and it's also a bomber, so it compares alot differently. The Gothri is, for all intents and purposes, a Kilrathi Sabre with better armour. I remember when I first saw them and mistook them for Drak'hri...never happened again. :)

    WC1/ movie... just noticing

Yes, but that issue sold *very* quickly due to the inclusion of the WC1 KS game on the CD, so I doubt you can back-order it, but you can try.

    Hey, changed name

It's just that I've never seen anyone speaking so authoritatively and directly in the Zone; well, then again, I've never seen anybody in trouble with Kris before... I have a feeling that I'm digging a hole. :(

    Hey, changed name

If LOAF hadn't showed up, Kris (can I refer to him by first name?) probably would've killed all of your accounts just for posting! Wait a minute, did I just post to this thread? NOOOOO!!!!!

    Vesuvius refit

You also regularly saw Transports and sometimes even an Exeter around the 'Claw after missions in WC1.

    Rapiers in the Movie

Who ever said that torpedoes contained antimatter? They could be really small nuclear warheads, or just a butt-load of conventional explosives; the torps in the movie were over half the length of the 32-meter-long Broadsword.

A discussion on the true nature of the Nephilim

You tell 'em, Nep! LOAF: I seem to remember about a year ago seeing on the CIC homepage that a KS went for somewhere around $599...It was a long time ago, so I may be remembering incorrectly...

    Rapiers in the Movie

Hm! Were the Salthi or Krant in the movie? I don't remember seein' 'em... Aw, hell, I'll just go my own manual... :)
