I love that the Arrow is not a ship that you have to worry about running out of AB fuel in. I love that the weapons make it a ship perfect only for a very patient artist. Is it really supposed to be able to take 2 DF missiles without dying, though?

I think the reason the Epee comes off as more useful is that it's easier to not get hit. And everyone knows the First Rule of Epee.

I second that idea. I think the Vision engine is a bit biased for light fighters being dangerous PROVIDED they have the armaments to kill you... the slow refire of the Prophecy guns minimized this but having a Sartha dump it's entire capacitor bank into your armor before you can scramble out...

I rather like the 1 box = 1 unit ratio. It gives cargo a nice modular appearance and a methoidcal feel to a freighter dumping cargo, and you hanging around thankful that there aren't any Confed craft in the area to tag you while you're chasing the freighter.

Problems w/ Halo? They exist. My favorite? Move the story back a thousand years, replace "Covenant" with "Tartars" and "Humans" with "Europeans", and adjust the details accordingly... and you'd have a history simulator that nobody would give a shit about.

*raises hand* I've seen two computers utterly wrecked by virii and another one unrepairable with freeware tools but still usable. It's not a joke, but the chances of the average user having their day ruined by any given virus are so small that it's not really something to stress about.

Time to make a comment about easy computing here. The (newer) iBooks are pretty slick, as long as you can deal with MacOS (OSX is supposed to have matured well, but I've not seen it myself.) However, for a 4-year-old schoolbeaten iBook... that's disgusting.
