System Shock 2 was made by a completely different team than 1, and it ended up being even better. Although I find it very hard to believe that any game can be better than DX.

I tried to run Taikodom a few years (or months?) back, but the site was really dumb (in the sense that it was actually an obstacle to me getting to actually play anything) and the game was really, really user unfriendly. It seems it got better, by your description. I'm gonna try again!

System Shock 1 is really awesome. System Shock 2 is really awesome. Deus Ex 1 is really awesome. Bioshock is really awesome. DXIW was good, bu not nearly as awesome as DX. I hope DX3 will be really awesome. And thank god you can actually buy both Bioshock and systemshock! I mean, why enjoy one...

Yeah, Doom was easy too run, and still is. But damn, Priv, wc2 and WC3 had wildly different hardware and mem config demands... WC3 needed lots of EMS or XMS, while Priv needed you to NOT have any of that turned on, thanks to that god damned mem manager. Like Ultima VII. Those games just pulled...
