It was different. It wasn't horrid. I played it at a friends once on the SNES and it wasn't that bad. If you've played WC only on the PC it does take some getting used to.

It seems to me some of the turret gunners haqve some of the best AI. I recall having trouble with Gothri, Vaktoth and the bug transport turrets. The latter wasn't a problem with them hitting my ship, but they could do a number on torpedoes. I kinda wish some of the other cap ships turrets...

Actually that is after the credits for SO2, if you beat Jazz, and that is darn funny. I always view that, perhaps erroneously, as the start of Maniac as comic relief.

I wholeheartedly concur with that. As for the tie in to the destruction of Kilrah, I would hope those who developed the story did not throw it in as a giant red herring, but they might have. Or even if they didn't plan it to be that way, if they ever do a sequel, they could change it...
