In all my hours in the lounge, I only ever saw this once.

I remember "sitting in the lounge" listening to the music when I saw the Avatar (thought it was a witch until Ben advised me differently) come into view. I was so taken aback I forgot to take a screen shot until the very last second. This was the result.

I wrote an extensive walkthrough for Super Wing Commander for Mac back in 1996 or thereabouts. Trying to figure out how to donate this to wcnews -- Ben is so busy with RSI these days! It's a pdf scan of the original printout. Anyone know who I should talk to?

I simply love the Super Wing Commander manual. Keep it on my desk even now, right next to the functional old Mac that runs the SWC universe!

The WC1 tree is fixed, and applies also to SWC as far as the first SMs. It's a simple formula, and also lets you navigate the losing paths at will to see some of the coolest cutscenes. Wait for my SWC Walkthrough (written in 1996) which needs serious editing before release....
