    Hey Everybody

My mother is from Glasgow, does that count? Are there any Welshies on this forum?

Brits steal carloads of F**king Austrian roadsigns

It's not in the sign being on the door, but what may be happening behind it that's fun.

    Which Video Card is better?

I'll take your word for it.

    Which Video Card is better?

Actually, my friend owns a Radeon 9800pro, and he can run all the above games with all the eye candy on with no problems at all.

Brits steal carloads of F**king Austrian roadsigns

You could hang it up on your door when you have a lady around, therefore avoiding the wallspace issue.

Star Trek/Star Wars/Space Movies and their futures?

Star Trek would have to be my favourite, although I am looking forward to the new Battlestar Galactica series.

    Which Video Card is better?

It may be faster, but it uses a lot more power and is one helluva lot noisier. It also uses up 2 slots, so all in all, I'd rather save a few pennies, get something slightly slower, but quieter, more effecicent, and takes up less space.

Are You Ready For Some Football?

Those were my exact words. Yep, soccer never really did much for me, but my point still stands as to whu it's called football, it just doesn't make sense, and so far, nobody has come up with an answer. I'm not sure about the three out four most popular sports thing, but my two favourite...

Are You Ready For Some Football?

Well, I can't argue with that. Rugby is hardly a game that requires finesse, or intelligence, however, it's rare to find a stupid rugby player. Most of them are really quite intelligent, they just choose not to use it in their proffession. But why is it called football, when the ball isn't...

    Which Video Card is better?

The 9800 is one helluva lot faster than the Geforce3. I just upgraded from a Geforce3ti200 and that is 3 years old, and it was one year old when I bought it. The 9800pro is 3 generations past the Geforce 3, and two from the latest batch of cards. Is someone charging you the same price for both...

Are You Ready For Some Football?

I will, on the condition that I can have a similar number of rugby players protecting me which was my point, not that american football players are wusses as scuh, but rugby players do stuff that's almost as dangerous, but without padding that could withstand an artillery bombardment.

    Hurricane Katarina

Hydrogen is not a solution for now. However, once nuclear fusion becomes safer and more reilable, then it will cease to become a problem. Sure, hydrogen uses a lot of energy to stabilise, but fusion provides that energy, cleanly, and there's plenty of it. As far as I can see, it's the only...

    Hurricane Katarina

I think veggie fuel is a useful stopgap technology until hydrogen fuel cells become more accessible, and nuclear fusion becomes safe enough, so that the energy used to extract the hydrogen, is clean as well. Until then, veggie fuel or ethanol seems like a good idea, so long as it isn't any more...

Are You Ready For Some Football?

Why do you americans call american football football? You hardly use your feet. It's like rugby for wusses. Soccer, involves using your foot to kick a ball, hence the more appropriate name football. Surely american football should be called padded rugby or something?

Space Sim First Look: Darkstar One (August 26, 2005)

I don't care. I love Privateer/Freelance esque space sims. I'm just happy that they seem to be getting a bit of a revival. They'll have to churn out a few more similar games before I get bored.

I Agree, however, eariler in the post, we were disscussing what Macs were good for other than games, and those uses do make it worth buying a brand new computer.

Lost Murmurs Of Prophecy DVD (August 24, 2005)

Yeah, not using DVDs to store new games on seems pointless these days, as I haven't seen a P.C. that doesn't come with a DVD-Rom drive for a number of years now.

Personally, I prefer Britain, but then I am biased because I live there.
