I don't want to know,which experiences I'll make, if I'll play it regularly. Maybe funny ones. But that also happened to me one time when I was playing Rogue Spear. I was behind one, setting on to the final shot and *boom* server crashed. :( And that where I drop so often. *g*

Poor guys. :D I only tried to play X-Wing Alliance online one time. After the connection was mega-slow I didn't continue. And that was before I entered the game. Same with X-Wing vs. Tie Fighter. But later I'll have to try more often.

lol I never tried it online. Till I am so far.... but you're right. MSN online-gaming-servers stink recently. For Flight-Sims also.

Somehow. The name still tells me nothing, but the history fits on another game. And that game is like Subculture.

And if you mean games, which aren't part of the WC universe, try Jumpgate or wait for Freelancer. They both belong to the same genre and offer also such possibilities. They aren't so 'deep' like Privateer, but it sounded well, what was published about them.

Well. Good pilots were always more important than machnines. Machnies are expensive. But they can be replaced. But pilots? Educating pilots takes longer than producing a new fighter. So better eject earlier. :)

A programming bug? Maybe the developers forgot anything or it was wrong/blind alert.

Ah well. Then most pilots would prefer being shot. It seems to be an evil way.

Thanks for the image- and useful demonstartion, mpanty. :D No, they really don't have weapons. So enemys, believing in 'human' rights let them mostly alive. But the enemys ConFed has to fight against it always looked little different. The cats had their fun killed/enslaved them, the Bugs did...

or or or :) It really doesn't make very much sense. But maybe we could understand it, if profiles were used for what their sense is. Giving information about the user. So maybe you really have problems to get them...which we cannot understand. Because of that.

Don't worry. It's so with allo old games. Just look at the Commodore 64 games. There you get a shock for life playing them again.
