USUALLY I just leave to whatever it defaults too. I have done it succesfully on the higher levels though, with little problems. I suppose I just have the bomber touch.

I dunno...whatever it defaults too is usually what I play. Still, it doesn't take many with fully charged full guns, depending on the fighter.

Blah...I use the Longbow religiously, and i've never had a problem hitting fighters. The thing is, on full guns you should only need to hit the fighter once, maybe twice to kill them. It's REALLY not difficult at all. The Longbow is simply the coolest ship in ANY sci-fi.

I generally use the Longbow whenever possible anyway in WC3, so i've done it long ago.

I doubt it will be like Star Trek. Star Trek is more about exploration and such...(although, if it IS in fact based on the movie...they could get a good Trek style episode about the NAVCOM) I hope it's not like Babylon 5, because I don't like Babylon 5. I imagine it could be similar to SAAB.
