Wedge was asking whether a Mace could destroy asteroid and mine fields in WC2, like the Mace can in Wing Commander Academy.

I don't think we ever got to fly a Morningstar with Mace missile through an asteroid or minefield in Special Operations 2.

Unfortunately, it isn't online. As far as I know, World Aircraft is only available as a series of issues. It was released in Australia, but I'm not sure what other countries it's been released in.

Interesting. I've never had my ion drive damaged to the point of total immobility. Fighters seem to have limitless 'reserves' when afterburner fuel is depleted. The lowest max speed I've ever gotten down to with a damaged ion drive is something like 50kps.

So I'm guessing the moral of Omega Supreme's quote and tech spec is 'Never give up' or something along those lines.

I despise the Longbow by far. It's a nice fat target for smaller, more agile fighters and can't maneuver very well. I liked the firepower and powerful shields, but without the speed and maneuverability, I found it a nightmare trying to go up against superior wings of lighter, faster fighters.

Ahhh, the good old days back when TF roamed...I don't suppose you managed to get good old egotistical Sky Lynx's leg repaired, by any chance?
