Personally, I doubt he'll be coming back, but even if he did, that would be the developers choice, not ours. I remember he did have a gun, the one he picked up off the marine. It would be cool if he had somehow escaped and survived, but I just.. don't see it happening. :)

WCPs style looks possibly the best, but for some reason I'm partial to the privateer textures. ..maybe I just really wanna play that game again. :)

Due to the era, (And the coolness of the ships) I would have to vote for Privateer style textures, however.. maybe a little sharper and luminous, or up the glossiness slightly, to try to remove the cartoony effects. Still, the colours I think would look great.
