Paradigm change in Wing Commander Fan Games, A Proposal

Flying for the Kilrathi is likely to screw up the 'underdog' image which all the Wing Commander parts after WC2 is about. In the game, you are always put in an "inferior" position on every mission in which you actually have to put effort into, and seeing how Kilrathi are always on the winning...

The Behemoth in WCIII was a stupid idea

Yeah, only light is recoilless, supposedly. Seriously, though, the end of WC3 is soooo similar to the end of the Death Star, it's the same run-trench-and-deliver-fatal-blow scenario as in Star Wars.

    Nasa sued for damaging comet.

LOL! I knew Russians are weird.

    They've finally done it...

Another interesting possibility with this revival method is the tapping of the entire (!) memory, even supposedly unreachable parts, by getting clinical death for 5 seconds, then use the revive technique. Time to find out about that incredibly old space fighting game I'm getting constant...

You know you've been playing to much privateer when...

You know you are playing too much Privateer (classic) when Admiral Terell hands you over command over PNB because of your seven-digit kilrathi/retro/pirate kill score.

How can you guys call this easy?

I am considering how much harder those changes will make the game... Well, they first found a way to make guns fire the WC2 way, that makes you more deadly, but this applies to the enemy, too. So it's tie that shifts the balance of power to the offensive side. Second, they took out ITTS...

Well, there are enough nerds to have a clientale.

Rapier II Gets A New PaintJob (June 29, 2005)

The idea is good, but I don't like the Rapier's repainting. Probably because green is my favourite color. I'd love to see one of those monotonous WC3 ships repainted, though.

Read Some Religious Reviews (June 30, 2005)

Being a Catholic, all what's left to say for me is that here we have one over-zealous bunch of fundamentalists. Too much sex with too many pepople is bad, as we all should know, but if it were for those nutcases, we should give up condums and anything that prevents unwanted results, and I am not...

    What The...?

I'll just think that this is sarcasm. Anyway, I find it kinda sad that you can sell every piece of junk in eBay, makes me wounder whether it is a good idea to give some of the younger people bank accounts and credit cards...

    PERRY, where do you land?

Well, I think that the privateer lands in the circular top hangar-thingy, because when you go inside Perry, you see windows, and there are none or few in bottom section as far as I saw it. It would fit some of the bigger ships to, I think.

    Ships Question

Not to mention the rising progress bar, delicious... I'm pretty confident that Eder will make it good to keep me well-fed for the upcoming holidays. Beautiful screenies too, as usual.

    Morningstar-First Superfighter?

The broadsword was never meant to be a rather, it was built to be a bomber :-) Anyhow, why was the mace nuke never implemented any further, even though the Morningstar had some problem (junp drive? only if you're lucky) ?

Hmmm, I wounder for how long the Gladius which depleted the energy bank fast enough already can shoot at double rate?

Ok, you've all convinced us: Ep 1 was indeed to easy.

And what are you going to do about collision damage? In WCSO engine, most of the time a collision won't even tickle your shields, but in WC2 it usually ends fatal to one side. Then again, are aren't many incidents of accidental "bumping" in WC2.
