We are putting eddieb over his head with ideas, mabye we should hold off and wait for him to finish 1.5, then unload our entire head of ideas for 1.6, 1.7, etc. :p

Oh are you all saying that the nav point switching isn't possible??? Or can it be done via a never ending list of scripts.

Mabye during your autopilot, when you press 'n' or whatever key it could be, you change to a new nav point.

Adding on to the idea of "fuel" how about you start of with all your fighters with little "fuel" capacity, and you could research "improved fuel tank" that is required to build bombers, since they consume so much fuel. Just a thought. :)

Ok, my old computer was repaired. I had to install a new power supply. I may use Vista in the future, but not now, sorry for wasting your time, but it could still come in handy for the others using Vista. :D

I just most recently put on my own graphics card, a VisionTrek. I am also using a wide-screen. Now I am no longer able to accept Vista due to it's lack of playing Wing Commander Saga, one of my favorite remakes.

Not using Mission_setScriptControl. This script could be a unique... mabye it should be added to the scripting doc's once we (eddieb, Iceblade, me, etc.) It could be added so others can try their hand at it (I'm telling you how to do your job eddieb, incase you got that impression. :))

It MIGHT be something that could be used. Like you are escorting a shuttle that you think has supplies for an outpost. When suddenly it lands and explodes. You are marked as a traitor, and the milita guarding the base mark you as traitor, you have 2 choices, surrender, or fight for your life...

Does the Freespace code allow for ejections??? I'm only on the second mission and I'm having trouble beating it, and ejecting wouldn't be a bad way to get by it. :p

But what if you do decide to help, you need that extra nav so you can land on your carrier, so its not really possible. Unless you can make yourself land on 2 diffrent carriers. One for each nav point

One bug was discovered, if you decide to shoot someone with a turret they don't mark you as traitor. Scriptable briefings, that's why there isn't a full release yet (and it is my fault you all don't have 1.5 yet.) Other than that, I don't think there is much more to it.
