Yes, I agree with you. The Longbow is used fro deep strike missions; they are escorted by medium class fighters who "play" with the enemy fighters, trying to open a path to the capships and/or bases. Then the Longbows shoot their torpedoes, make a 360°, and go back home. It's got huge armor, but...
