Don't know about DAE, but .cob to anything shouldn't be that much of a problem, i converted every Saga model to .obj without issues (.pof to .cob, then .cob to .obj) and .obj to .dae doesn't require more than a few mouseclicks either. UV mapping might be a bigger issue, but that's doable too...

Just for fun i adjusted the Privateer Broadsword and the Saga Confederation class to their WC2 sizes. It doesn't quite fit in the hangar either, but considering the Saga Confed has different proportions (and is an update anyway) it might actually not be that far off at all. For comparison...

What, the cats don't have the Kilrathi equivalent of a sexhotline operator? I thought that was the universal standard in computer voices. I agree though, a robotic voice sounds fitting for Kilrathi computers.

It's been a while since i read the novels or played through all games, but wasn't the Broadsword size the whole reason for the Crossbow and reconfiguring the Sabre as a bomber, with the Broadsword not fitting into the hangars of escort carriers?

I thought the hats are actually a nice asset, at least now the confederation pilots don't look like 20th century US airforce. I find it much more interesting that they actually put the rank on the dogtags.

Ok, here's my (very crude i have to admit) normal map for the Bloodfang. Unfortunately i have no idea how to get it in the game, i use Deep Exploration to edit the .cob, but when i open it in POF constructor suite, everything is messed up. So anyway, if anyone else wants to give it a try, here...

I wanted to give it a try and move the engine flares a little back, but i have problems converting the edited .cob back to .pof. I'll play around with the normal maps a little instead.

Oh i'll wait patiently till the model is fixed. In the meantime i'll enjoy the Rapier when it arrives.
