Thanks to all the people involved. Finally a hassle-free way to buy, install and play the addons.
I hope they catch up with other EA addons as well, my masochistic me needs American Revolt.
I still think that's no game but a social experiment to see if people still complain if you give them everything they cry for. And i suppose i'm proving them right with this very post.
I can't really think of an intelligent question right now, not even a dumb one although i'm good at that.
So just thank you for gracing us with your presence, it's very much appreciated. Rachel is one of the most popular Wing Commander characters, and it was always fun being praised when we...
Can't speak for the Navy/Airforce/Spaceforce (or anything above enlisted personnel in general), but i wouldn't consider a depiction of a military consisting mainly of dicks insulting each other very far from reality.
In fact, i liked that Saga deviated from the cheesyness of other "military"...
How much did you use to pay for an issue? I know the British press has its own... style, but if i buy a special interest magazine, i expect at least an attempt at objective journalism. Especially when my buying decisions depend on it.
Here it's just simple adjectives like "dull" and "boring" and...
Was Wing Commander really that unpopular in the UK back then or did british reviewers just enjoy their semantic skills that much?
Seriously i like a little sarkasm here and there, but i'd feel ripped off if i paid for a magazine with that kind of writing style. If a game's bad, write a one-page...
Don't know why, but these news (and especially the first picture) make me glad i'm no Ultima fan.
Maybe it's just that everything EA tends to slap the "Bioware" name on nowadays makes me raise an eyebrow in scepticism, even though this time it even is something related to their profession.
Maybe he played a different game, my version of Privateer doesn't have a flyable ship that's called Taurus. Does it fly on Red Bull?
I grant everybody his right to have and express his own opinion, but if you're loudmouthing in a gaming magazine, you should at least bother to actually busy...
So now that this thread is another KDN hijack:
What's up with the Paradigm? I mean, the manual says it's a destroyer, but come on, that whole design just *screams* corvette to me!
I didn't like the concept of the Behemoth (or the Templor bomb) at all. I would have preferred an elaborate tactical maneuver or something that, because of the Kilrathi spy, failed miserably. But hey, why not use a gigantic superlaser instead?
Play Orbiter if you want to see what the experience would be like. It's as realistic as a space game could get (depending on the addons installed), and even there space is incredibly bright.
The effect it had on me was i grew sick of Air Suite Nr.3 very quickly.
