Strike Commander was a fantastic game...great fun concept with a interesting little backstory combined with great gameplay. Who doesn't want to play as a mercenary fighter pilot based in Istanbul? :) The backstory with the manual was well worth reading...good bit of fiction.

Counting calories is a pretty tried and true way to lose weight. Of course just limiting your calorie intake to a certain number isn't just the only thing you can or should do...combine the calorie count with some good healthy exercise and you should start seeing some results.

Pardon me for sounding negative...but that's just the typical Freespace 2 Hud? Why would you need give us a preview of a feature of a game that's been out for years? As much as we definitely want to see more of Saga...giving us pictures of the generic FS HUD (which was quite poor in my opinion)...

Deacon, I'd be glad to do a model for you...it would be helpful to have a rough sketch of something you might have had in mind though.

What is the multiplayer like, Mav? I played Farcry for the original xbox and although the single player story was mind numbingly boring, the split screen multiplayer was pretty fun. Never played it online though.

Interesting news indeed. A Halo RTS doesn't really interest me all that much although I'm sure it will be well done. (I'm kind of interested to see how that will play out on the xbox 360). The partnership with Peter Jackson to produce another Halo related title sounds very intriguing though but...

Wait...your subject line seems to indicate you need a modeller? I'm assuming since it's a destroyer it should roughly be the size of a Confed destroyer? Maybe slightly larger than a mammoth cargo ship?

Maybe you should first just say what problems you are encountering. Are you trying to run them via dosbox? Also, if you want instant feedback and support, I suggest you just join the CIC #wingnut irc channel. There is usually someone knowledgeable there that could help you out.

I never got a chance to play MOO2 although I have always wanted. I suppose that eventually I will pick up a copy and sit down and play it through, until then I'm happy playing through the original MOO.

The Graphics didn't seem to impressive to me...granted the video quality wasn't all that great but didn't look any better to me than Starlancer...

Privateer II was a great game, I need to go back and play it again.

Yeah, MOO is still such a great game. I love going back to it. It was the game that got everything right. YOu had great options of micromanaging but I liked how the combat felt like a chess match. You wanted to attack in just the right way. Great stuff.

Schlinder's List was actually better than the book...but only because of the author's style of writing. It was annoying at times and hard to read because the author would frequently go on a tangent...the wrong kind of tangent that provide too much detail about obscure things and not enough about...
