It reminds me of an Intrepid class on steroids. Looks lean, fast and maneuverable. I'd love to see more in the future :)

/Agree. I always used to like the Ferret more. Not entirely sure why, lack of missiles and lighter guns and all. It just felt more like it was made of cardboard, instead of the Epee's construction paper armor. :)

One has to wonder: with the coming of the mace missile, flash pack and leech class weapontry, why Confed would move more in the massive-carrier direction. A Vesuvius or Poseidon(Midway) class vessel would undoubtedly take far longer and be more costly to build than a Yorktown, Ranger or...

That always used to bug me. Those bombers had so much armor yet were pretty much the same size as the escorts. And when you were flying the bombers you never had the sense that they were large enough to carry that much mass. It was like flying a garbage can that weighs as much as a garbage...

I think it's exactly that feel that made me a BSG fan as well. In the day and age of everyone playing FPS and MMO's there was something... romantic... about the feel of the dog-fighting.
