Aw man, I think I'll just play the Playstation versions of Wing Commander 3 and 4. PC gaming sounds too much like a hassle. How do the PS versions compare to the PC ones?

Wow, that's some impressive work there.

I do know about this "problem". Yet, there are quite some good synthesizers by now, which are capable of producing a decent synthetic orchestra. Like the mp3 posted earlier. Who made that mp3 anyway and is there more of it / a newer version (since it's called beta).

There has been a HD version of it on TV? Wow... I'd love to see that... I did like that movie actually.

I think I can't vote, since I only played WC1 and WC2. I have only seen WC3 and WC4 at my mate's computer, who also stopped playing Wing Commander after that. Thus I haven't seen WC Prophecy at all. Damn, I should really play WC3 and 4 for myself finally. Then prophecy as well. I think my PC...

Yeah well, I know these. They are not truly orchestrated, imho. There are a lot of orchestra arranges out there, especially from japanese games. But Wing Commander is truly lacking.

Yes, most definitely. My favourite Ship of all time: The Dralthi. I am not sure if I'll do the classic or that MK IV one. Time and skills will tell.

Did you guys know about this site? http://69.89.27.241/~originm1/stories/slides.htm It features scanned Origin Artworks from the EA archives. Those are 35 mm slides and thus of rather nice quality, imho. Check out the Wing Commander Logo, it's so gorgeous. Or the Wing Commander 3 cover artwork.

Great model! Nice pictures here as well, they'll be nice guidelines for me, once I scratchbuild that Excalibur some day.:cool:
