    Accepted to Flight School!

CONGRATS MAN!!! That is so awesome, keep us up to date! I applied to flight school with the navy but failed the sight test. That plus the navy said I'm too tall for a fighter pilot. So my dreams were crushed. DO A BARREL SPIN FOR ME!

    Wing Commander IV: Missiles Overpowered?

Sounds like you're talking about a Wing Commander 1/2 set up. I would completely agree with this, but I would have also liked a more WC3 missile loadout system. Have a fighter equipped with a few different hardpoints and allow you to choose the payload based on what those hardpoints are able to...

    Old LOAF Stuff

... dolphin fighters? That could work. Sort of reminds me of the Stinger ship from SeaQuest.

The new Addition to our family!!!!

Let me guess, you needed a level 5 NICU? I work in the healthcare field on the corperate level, so I knew which hospitals were the best. I was lucky that Boston has a lot to choose from. We decided Newton Wellesley was the best hospital. We loved their facilities and their staff. Sadly, that...

The new Addition to our family!!!!

AD, very sorry to hear that you went through that... my boy was lucky, he almost needed an incubator. I dunno what it was for me, I already had a fear of hospitals and seeing the person I loved the most cut open on the table and shaking like someone in an action movie that just got blown up and...

    Wing Commander IV: Missiles Overpowered?

I'm forced to agree with Quarto on this one, while one could make an argument that BWS fighters were fragile when compared to their Confed equivalent, this does not hold water when they can down a Confed or lance fighter without too much of a problem. Also, aren't the ships shields supposed to...

The new Addition to our family!!!!

Thank you very much! He actually went into surgery yesterday and did very well. He's resting comfortably now. I will say this though... watching a C-section is one of the most scarey things I've ever seen.

    Concordia's final resting place

I agree with this... can't believe i didn't think of it. I also think that the way they had her land was correct if she remained intact, because the back half appears to have more mass then the rest.

    Wing Commander IV: Missiles Overpowered?

I would... disagree slightly. Some of the missiles had more punch, but I remember sinking to IFFs into a Dragon and that thing still came on strong. Also, look at the Mace, Coneburst, and Starburst. How many ways can you say, "CRAAAAAAP!!!"

    Concordia's final resting place

Are you joking? Or was that established in dialogue? Either way... I enter the theory that maybe Thrakath drove the Concordia to that system and had her torpedoed there to send Blair a message. Anything else is just poor storytelling.

LOL quite possible, although Gabe somehow managed to boot him out of the crib.

    Concordia's final resting place

So i know this has been hacked nearly to death (After this, it will most likely be to death.) I would just like to reopen the discussion of the theory (or was it accepted canon?) that the Concordia split in two either on entry into the atmosphere or on impact. There is evidence both ways if...

The new Addition to our family!!!!

Hi all, Sorry I haven't been around in a while, but I have good reason... My wife just gave birth to our first. Gabriel... he's 7.9 lbs. and 19 & 2/3 inches long. We have a few pictures, which I have uploaded, just know, our little boy has CDH (Congenital Diaph ramac Hernia), so he's currently...

Good news just keeps getting better!

No, not a premie, though I dunno how much better off we are. We are married, we got engaged just before we found out. Our baby will need surgery when born tho. He has whats called a Diaphratic hernia. Basically, he has a hole in his diaphram and part of his intestines are in his chest. They...

    An impossible sighting

Yeah but they pretty much put them out of buisness in the late 90s... shhhh! ;) These look more like what we saw... they seriously looked like a Shinden with the angled rear wings, so i don't think it was a drone. Yes and the old Otis airforce base, which is for the most part retired...

    An impossible sighting

So a week ago I was on the beach, when I saw an airplane go by high overhead. It looked unusual, so I took out my binoculars to take a closer look... All i can say is that the prop was in the rear, it had 4 wings, two small in the front, two large near the prop. I've never seen anything like...

I keep trying to nab Wing Commander fans into my fleet, but they seem to group together pretty quick.
