I agree that your first one will be “the One“ for most people. And while I can't imagine anyone having special feelings for that flying shoe box with a hole through it, I'm pretty sure that those who played WC3 as their first WC game do have a soft spot for the Victory.
I'm torn between 1993 and 1994. In 1993 everything I loved about Wing Commander was out, the WC universe was perfect with the release of Privateer. But I remember how excited I was about Righteous Fire and Armada...and also how WC3 did not sit well with me at all.
