The show is really fun and interesting, good job about transporting the enthusiasm for Wing Commander. But it's so long - I'll never be able watch the whole episodes at once and if they keep being that long, I'll never be able to keep up. All the Wing Commander lore I'll miss! Still, the flying...

When I started playing WC at the age of 9 to 10, I used generic "cool" callsigns, like "Falcon", "Hawk" ("Thundercougarfalconbird") etc. Since I've read the Chanur series (~ 12/13, I guess(, I started using "Mekt-Hakkikt" in every WC game...and pretty much every PC game.

You're absolutely right and I think about this a lot when dealing with my kids. I try to show them much of the games, toys and books that I loved as a child and then seeing my old Playmobil Knights next to the new ones...or having phones with wires depicted in Tintin books. Or later, when I'll...
