    Privateer - Alliance Problems...

    Firepower Always prefered the blunter approach myself. Load up on the best ordnance, armor, and shields money could buy. The same goes for engines to power all of that. Then keep up your speed, and ram it down their throats. I usually came out of it, but sometimes somewhat scorched.:)

    Devestator, Dogfighter I would prefer to have the Devestator's shield regenerate more quickly. If you could reduce the power requirements, and refire dely of the plasma cannon, then I would say trade armor, for speed.

    The Devestator Granted I missed the ability to arm multible hardpoints in Prophecy, but I liked the plasma cannon on the Devestator. Something to kill capships that wasn't dependent on torps.:)

    All Thing Being Equal Without a doubt, the fighter of choice in WC4 is the Dragon. After suffering through torp run with every gun on the cap ship pointed at you trying to blow you away, the option of a cloaked, approach to the target was most welcome. Just get real close, wait for the torps...

    Exactly That's why I loved torp runs in WC3&4, you could arm all your torpedo hardpoints, and salvo the lot. That made only one run necessary.

    The Truth Is The truth is I loved the Morningstar, and Mace missile. The thought of a nuke tipped dumbfire, just don't be too close when it goes off. :)

    Swarmers Rock Swarmers are great, nothing better for blowing away bomber clusters quickly. Lock range is a tad short, but still would prefer to have more. As for torpedoes in WC4, I always armed all torpedoes, shifter repair power to shields, and hung back as the torpeodoes locked on. After...
