Ok probably an odd question but how will faster then light travel work? Jump points like in WC or will players be able to pick where the enter and leave FTL within systems?

I personally enjoy most of the EU but have no problems with the new movies throwing it out to start clean, or just taking pieces from it like the prequels did and ignoring others. The books and comics will still exist and you'll still be able to enjoy them so they won't really be destroyed.

A Ahh when did the original BSG TV series even discuss their FTL drives? I know the novelizations and novels set after the old BSG did some and what they describe fits what we see in the New BSG but don't recall it ever being described in the old series.

I used to play BFG a lot as well though I don't think the playtime issues would be as bad in a PC game but it would be a very hard and long project. Maybe someday someone will try a Bridge Commander or BFG Style Wing Commander game though.

I would love something like the Battlecruiser series set in WC and properly debugged. Let us fly fighters, command capships, and possibly fleets or squadrons in time, or fight ground battles.

Ahh I guess I forgot that part and figured that the first choice of posting for the protptype excalibers would be a heavier carrier.

Things are kind of hetic right now but they should settle down some next week. I'm kind of worried about the combat system though, is it turn based or real-time? I have probelms with real-time based combat in mushes because Ihave a mediccal condition which slows my typing speed.
