What of Commander Keen? It was kind of fun playing the game for the first time when my friend put in all the cheat codes he could for me.

It's too bad that Confed didn't upgrade the shields of the T-bolts and Excals to use the new alien upgrades the newer ships enjoyed. They might have actually stood a chance.

Re: sound card well, seeing as your speakers need to be plugged into the sound card to work, the obvious answer is no. Without a sound card, the speakers won't work.

I kind of like Nester's humor... childhood memories pouring forth now. heh... I remember I have an old Nintendo Power featuring Mega Man II... it had Nester meeting the Ninja Turtles and stuff.
