I don't get it, what's wrong with analogue import through an s-video jack to a video capture card? The quality isn't THAT good to have any visable loss through that tactic, is it?

I used VSO DivxtoDVD to convert them to DVD and DVD Shrink to remove frames (thus cutting out the credits) and burned them onto DVDs compliant with most DVD players. Because I cannot stand watching stuff on my computer.

The files don't play on my computer, I don't think I have the right plug-in or something. No matter. I must have just messed up when I edited them a little to take the credits out so I wouldn't have to skip over them. My own fault. I'll re-do them at some point.

I'd say for this kind of stuff, always email them and make sure they are the R1 (or whatever region you happen to live in) studio versions, just to be safe. I don't know what I was thinking when I said the half.com thing. Chris is right, it's just as easy to pull that Korean knock-off DVD crap...

Stargate SG-1 is the worst. They will have actors come back to play COMPLETELY differant, unrelated characters and it will be obvious that they are the same actor. It's not like putting Jeffrey Coombs under a pound of latex to hide who he is. That works, IMO.

This looks legit, but be careful buying DVDs on Ebay. There are still a lot of bootlegs and imported (subpar quality) DVDs floating around. I heard of somebody getting a bad import of Seaquest well after it was officially released. I prefer to use DeepDiscountDVD, Half.com, ect to Ebay.

Hey, Bandit, was that game released UNOFFICIALLY? Do you have a link to a ROM...? GBA is a pretty good system, it could do WC1 for sure, since they had it for SNES and GBA is more powerful than SNES. I think. PSP could probably do all of the WC games released to date, including the PC version...
