Sometime ago i bought the gforce 2 agp video card and i had vxd problems any time i tryed to run a game, at the time i was told to get the via 4in1 drivers, and it corrected the problem...until now... I had to format my pc, since i was having problems getting a network, and my network drivers...

Choosing not to view the movies is a bit drastic. In the case of the lord of the rings and spiderman, you're missing great movies. I just consider them adaptations, they dont change the idea i have of a fictional universe.

My guess is that movies are adaptations of things, not cannon stuff. If you take all movies to be cannon material, well, take spider-man for example. Its quite faithfull to the comics, but it does changes parts of the storyline. Same for movies like the vampire chronicles, resident evil, blade...

The images arent mats? If so, you need texconv.

When placing turrets, the easiest way is to look into meshes that have turrets in a similar postion. Vector 1, Direction and Vector 3 are used to position the turret model itself, so it wont always be faing up.

Resident Evil was an ok movie...if you dont compare it to the games. Its a decent film to watch late at night, not in the movies, since i wouldnt pay to see it again in the bigscreen! (already made the mistake to pay to see it the first time) Compared to the games, the story is very weak...

Sorry, never used 3d studio, so cant help you in there...are you sure its saving the texture coordinates? Get the model completely finished before opening it in 3d exploration. Dont let to apply the textures in 3d exploration later...if thats what you're doing.

I never checked every mesh, but you should be able to find all the models from the game, including the confed and alien drones that doesnt show up in the game :p Actually, the confed drone does show up, but only in the initial fmv

It appears a lot of wc cds are being eaten or damaged lately! With me its my cd-rom driver wich isnt working well for some time...but my cds are all right...hopefully! :rolleyes:

If you got the model centered, it should open centered in peoviewer. Thing is, and that is the reason why i said its better to not center in modelc, modelc will show the model a bit twisted in position. Upside down and to the right. About texturing, i learned a bit myself about texturing in...

You dont need to convert ALL mat files. In modelc, there is a folder called texturing. There you will find the needed mats for a dtermined mesh. ;)

Welcome. I always prefered playing with the keyboard, but wc2 doesnt seem to work very well with it. You're better of with the mouse.

The price of maintaining a Midway as a carrier or as a base, now and most likely even 50 years later, would be very prohibitive with the BW budget. :p
