Have some carrier love for you today along with some same scale comparisons. Wing Commander carriers dwarf reap world carriers and even the Enterprise. I love Klavs Bengal though some holes did appear in the mesh. While The Concordia took some hits. I managed to take care of all the holes...

They have some good mass to them, especially compared to my other 1:72 sci-fi ships. Just wish I could find a good hornet *hint hint* lol. Or that I could get the Bengal to convert to ojb or stl.

Working on 3D prints of Klavs amazing models from his old craft pack. Have the Dralthi and Rapier-C on the printers right now. Having trouble converting a few, my copies might be slightly corrupted. Really wish I could get hold of a Hornet as it is still one of my favorite fighters in WC.

I don't see an old business laptop with just the Intel GPU being able to run it well, if at all.

We definitely need more info: What planes do you fly? What do you mean by cartoons? What do you mean by crash easily at the start of the game?

Was it a PC game or console? One of the Jet Fighter games? Not remembering any cartoon intros. One of the Janes games? What do you mean by sim aspects? I don't know many of the console games of the period other than the Ace Combat and Air Combat titles.

Love those renders. Starsiege video. You have my attention. I Liked the old Earth/Starsiege games, well not so much tribes, but the mech based ones for sure.

I've seen this kind of thing with "game meshes" they come out full of holes. You have to go into the modeler to fix it. Some programs I think can fix it automatically, but I'm not so sure. I do all my modelling in a solid modelling program so rarely see this issue, but it is correctable.

Ok, so it's an issue with the original asset making those parking spots/maintenance bays too small and then the team kept them the same size as the originals.

Maybe it is me, but the Arrows look HUGE in those shots. Is that the correct size? I'd love to see the fighter all next to each other for a size comparison.
