Hello people, as we all know, the missiles in Wing Commander IV are unnecessarily overpowered compared to the other WC games, leading to lots of frustrating moments during gameplay. Has there ever been any attempt to nerf the missiles back to their WC3 stats?

Academy had its own intro/credits theme, which is also quite nice. The simulator room theme is also an original composition, while the theme heard while using the simulator controls is the remix which @Dyret has described above.

I'd also love to have an orchestra performance of the WC1 and 2 tracks, as well as Academy, Privateer and Armada. :)

Academy would probably between WC2 and End Run. Armada between Fleet Action and Privateer. Secret Ops and Arena after Prophecy. And perhabs Unknown Enemy and Defiant Few could be added to that list just for fun as well. :)

Yes, I'd say it's a false alarm. As the name suggests, with that exe-file you can watch the cutscenes without any scanlines as opposed to the standard WC3Win95-exe.
