Sorry I was talking about the rudder reversal. I'm prety sure both Prophecy and SO have the "option" to reverse the rudder, but it doesn't work. It reverts as soon as a modifier key (alt, button 2 on joystick, shift) is pressed, making the option effectively useless. I never had a joystick...

Speaking of hacks, I would love for there to be a dll hook to reverse joystick rudder input. It's been a long annoyance..

Holy cow! They have been working on this game for over 10 years. Before it was called Infinity: Quest for Earth. Demos of the engine were really impressive 9 years ago. I thought they died. Glad to see a game actually come out of all that hard work!

Upon further looks at the dos version, apparently there is the ramping effect being done. But it is so much faster then the KS version and is mostly noticeable in the hand animation. Shift does make the change instant.

I doubt prophecy is on anyone's list. It is clearly the weakest of the bunch story wise, and the acting isn't that great. Not that I dislike the game, but next to the masterpieces of III and IV it's just not on that level.

I don't get it, if its an HID compliant device, there is no reason it should have not worked. I doubt windows 10 changed anything in the input areas, maybe they added a newer xinupt dll but dosbox wouldn't use that. Perhaps it just bit up the ghost. 21 years is a long time for potentiometers...

Be sure you try diaspora, the battle star galactica one. It too uses the FS2O engine, but has 3d cockpits And then post pictures. :)

the problem with sheep shaver is that there hasn't been centralized development for over a decade. I believe OSX was the original focus. Random people have been doing small fixes here and there, but it's really spotty in a lot of areas. Aside from making sure you are in large window mode...

Are you using the windows version? That could be it...The windows version is really finicky relative to the OSX version. I've seen the color corruption though, especially in Basilisk.
