    It's a huge undertaking, and I'm right in the middle of mad production mode on RGO - Even replacing all the WC1 sprites...I don't have all the models. I'm missing the Raptor, the Rapier, the Krant and the Gratha - I'd have to do a lot of work just to bring them up to the level of the art shown...

    Quarto: Don't tempt me. I threw the 07 in there, but it'll just be mirrored. who cares!? Updates to both, fixed the sorta assymetrical engine lighting on the Cruiser.

    Agreed. At low resolutions bicubic filtering is terrible. I can also render these at a *biiiit* higher AA width and get some smoother results. And here they are! in pre-palettized GIF form! Also, I was a gigantic dummy on the previous sprite sets, and the horizontal rotation angles were way off...

    One thing you should look at doing is adding some dithering to the sprites - I found that in photoshop, dithering with diffusion at 50%-60% strength yielded fantastic results.

    HAHAH, yeah. the thought had occured. so you guys want the sprites rescaled down to 34% of what they were? I can do that and give you nice sharp, non bilinear filtered and blurred images?

    So, uh. No idea if this is helpful, or wanted...buuuutttt....I did a thing. 1024x1024px, 32bit RGBA full sprites rotated from the proper WC1-angles.
