    Prophecy @ widescreen?

Hi ! WCP was designed as a 4:3 game; back then widescreen monitors were oddities, not the norm. There is no way to have it run in widescreen. We did make our mod Standoff support widescreen to some extent, but it required lots of tweeking of the game assets.

    BREAKING: WC Prophecy on GOG

WC Album Kickstarter Rocks It With $42,113! (March 22, 2014)

To be fair, he did post about the 50$ level getting extra, digital music days before, maybe you just didn't notice. I am pretty sure he will allow people to upgrade their pledge, but I guess that requires some logistic that he's not quite ready to handle. I suggest you click the "Contact me"...

Star Citizen Pulls In $40 Million! (March 12, 2014)

Geez, when I look at a the fundraising stats for SC... a very bad day racks 44 kilodollars, more than enough to blast Georges's campaign through its streachgoals :( Anyway, I just upgraded my pledge, I hope many others will.

Star Citizen Pulls In $40 Million! (March 12, 2014)

I am just slighlty depressed that SC got 40 Millions of crowdfundind while Georges Oldziey's WC music kickstarter is about to fail getting 35 thousand dollars. That's pocket change compared to Star Citizen ! If every citizen pledged 4 cents Georges's campaign would make it. 4 cents ! Or...

    BREAKING: WC Prophecy on GOG

Other things to check out for: Make sure the game is NOT installed in C:\Program Files; instead install it in a separate folder structure like "C:\Games\GoG Games" or something like that. Windows UAC will mess up with the game if you don't. What is your video card ? You should try out...

    BREAKING: WC Prophecy on GOG

Is the game giving you a specific error message, or just generic-crashing ? Also, if you previously had Secret Ops installed and then installed GoG's Secret Ops to a different folder, be aware that only that new install will work. GoG's install will have altered the registry keys pointing to...

To where does Standoff download updates?

The updates need to be applied in a specific order and depends on the installed version. I suggest you keep downloading them from the CIC since it's not going to disapear anytime soon, but if you really, really want them PM me and I'll send them to you.

To where does Standoff download updates?

Well, if you're really, really patient, I still intend to make a full install in the near future. I just need to remake a sim mission completely first :p

    Unkown Enemy

It is you who has been patient, but I'm happy you got it working :) BTW you need to download the Microsoft DLL only if the launcher complains about it being missing.

    BREAKING: WC Prophecy on GOG

Please do try again and send me screenshots/more info. I just tested a complete reinstall on a fresh Windows 8.1 install and it did work. The only hiccup being WCUE's installer insisting the dlls could not be copied while... they were. I just clicked "Ignore" repeatedly to get through it...

    error message on install

Hi there. Sorry for the delayed reply, I've been pretty busy lately. I've took a few minutes to test the setup on a brand new Windows install at home, and could reproduce your problem. Could you try out running the WCUE install, clicking "Ignore" at every warning ? I've tested it on the PC...

    BREAKING: WC Prophecy on GOG

You didn't quite follow them: I didn't write you'd have to remove the compatibility setting for Secret Ops did I ? ;) The thing is, HCl's Enhancement Pack "fixes" Prophecy.exe so it doesn't require the Win98 compatibility flag anymore... but the Enhancement Pack only patched Prophecy, not...

    BREAKING: WC Prophecy on GOG

So you noticed :p Doing my tests earlier today I remembered why my own version of WCPHR.dll was timestamped differently: because of the many versions of WCPHR.DLL floating around in 2009 I had included the lastest build (the one working correctly you linked me last time) into the OpenGL...
