I have played through all the wing commanders except for WC4 and I have been unable to find a copy to buy at a non-private retailer. Since it isn't for sale and not being supported I was wondering if anyone has the ISO files for WC4 or knows where I can get them. I have been looking for torrents...

Hmmm You need to go to full speed and get away after first torp launch until you are out of range of their guns. Wait for your shields to generate and then attack again. It is diificult but doable. In fact you've probably already beaten it since posting this.
