    I would say the bigger issue is that we had 5 Wing Commander games in which the concept of Pilgrims was never mentioned or even hinted at.

    This was the worst way to revive Wing Commander IMHO. It showed no confidence in the IP. No surprise it did not kickstart a revival. I am, like everyone here, a hardcore fan and never even considered playing this game. Mileage varies I suppose.

    The Morningstar's triple particle guns are also quite good. Their position right under the cockpit means all three will hit at almost all times - maximizing damage.

It had no place in Wing Commander and it was a shameless attempt by Chris Roberts to try to piggy-back on Star Wars hype that had been building since Lucas announced the prequels...
