Seems that your pc can't read the CD. Any dirt on CD?

I got this error before. But after I select the correct video card, it works.

Not sure .... I guess maybe the sound card drvier problem I suggest you check the sound card by using "dxdiag" - click "start" -> "run" -> "dxdiag" Then, try to see if you can pass the directsound test. good luck

For your information, I can get both "mouse" and "keyboard" works on WC IV (DVD) But not joystick. I tried press "ctrl-j" for joystick mode, but failed ..... I tried press "alt-o" to config joystick, save the setting and exit. But still not working .....
