Seems as though every time I try to run the versions of WC1 and 2 and the expansions on Kilrathi Saga I can only see half the screen. Anyone have any ideas?

I'm having problems with the versions of WC1 and 2 and the expansions on Windows XP. Initially it would start up ok but half the screen would be black. Now it won't start up at all. It tries to then crashes out. If anyone can help I'd appreciate it.
